Andrew Prowse has experience of all aspects of corporate
tax, with a particular emphasis on the
tax aspects of M&A transactions and
company reorganisations. Andrew has also developed an expertise in
the investment funds tax and media tax sectors. On the contentious
side, Andrew’s practice includes advising clients on tax litigation
both against HM Revenue & Customs and contractual
counterparties.
Andrew has experience in the energy and
natural resources, financial
institutions, hotels & leisure,
media & entertainment, retail and technology &
communications sectors.
Andrew has spoken at various tax industry conferences, including
at three Lexis Nexis conferences on the Real Estate Investment
Trust regime, having been involved at his old firm in advising on
Hammerson’s conversion to REIT status.
Andrew has also written articles published by PLC
Magazine, the Financial Instruments Tax and
Accounting Review and the International Bureau of
Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).
