Clare Parkinson is a specialist employment lawyer and has experience of
contentious and non-contentious employment work for a variety of
both public and
private sector employers. Clare has experience of defending
legal proceedings brought by employees on a variety of matters
including unfair dismissal and a range of discrimination claims, in
particular involving disability and sex discrimination. Clare has
advised employers on responding to disability discrimination
questionnaires, which are often a precursor to an employee bringing
an Employment Tribunal claim.
Clare also has experience in providing advice to clients on a
business operational issues including recently advising a large
employer on its obligations to make adjustments to accommodate a
disability, preparing agreements documenting settlements with
employees to avoid litigation and employee issues associated with
business transfers.
