Katie Paxie is a Solicitor (New Zealand Qualified) in our
Privacy and Information Law group. She focuses on privacy,
data protection and freedom of information matters which include direct
marketing, data sharing agreements, data security and breach
action. She has been involved in the development and
implementation of compliance and training programmes and
provides strategic advice on responses to freedom of information and subject access
requests.
Prior to joining the
firm in 2011,
Katie worked as a data
protection and freedom of information specialist for a large public service
broadcaster. She also has experience in financial services
compliance and before qualifying in New Zealand, worked
as a Human Resources practitioner where she gained valuable policy
drafting expertise.
