Dr. Florian Streiber is corporate partner in the Hamburg office of
Field Fisher Waterhouse and specialising in capital markets and
corporate
law. He advises both German and multinational companies on a
wide range of corporate and commercial transactions with a
particular focus on German and cross-border mergers
& acquisitions. Florian has particular expertise in
connection with venture capital transactions and corporate
transactions in the real
estate sector where he advises real estate companies on the
acquisition and sale of real estate portfolios and the structuring
of project developments.
Besides his transactional practice Florian advises his clients
on general corporate matters such as group re-organisations,
joint
ventures and shareholder disputes as well as on corporate
finance and restructuring transactions. Moreover, he consults
medium-sized and family companies with respect to corporate
structuring and succession matters. Finally, Florian has extensive
experience regarding the legal structuring of closed-ended private
equity funds in various sectors such as maritime shipping, real
estate, private equity and renewable energies.
Prior to joining Field Fisher Waterhouse Florian worked for
several years for a US law firm in Germany focusing on mergers
& acquisitions and general company representation.
Florian graduated from the University of Trier and wrote his
doctoral thesis in the field of international corporate law about
creditor protection and foreign companies. He is a lecturer for
corporate law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and a member of the
Academic Association of Corporate and Business Law (VGR).
