Rob Shooter is a partner in the Technology and
Outsourcing Law Group and specialises in large scale outsourcing and technology deals, drafting and
negotiating commercial agreements, as well as e-commerce related
projects. Rob divides his time between acting for Central
Government customers, and acting for suppliers to the public and
private sector.
Rob advises clients in the banks &
financial institutions, technology & telecommunications, and public sectors. In his work for the public
sector, Rob has taken lead responsibility in ground-breaking deals
for government departments and is an expert in the OGC’s ICT
guidance and model terms. Rob also has an in-depth knowledge of
MiFID and FSA guidance insofar as it relates to outsourcing in the
financial services sector. He also leads the Israel Sector
Initiative.
Rob regularly speaks at conferences (including CLT and SCL
conferences) and has lectured to LLM students at the University of
London. He is also a contributor to legal and technology journals.
Rob has been a member of a working party for the Office of the
Information Commissioner.
