Sapna handles a broad range of non-contentious and contentious
matters for both private sector companies and public sector bodies.
Sapna is also a member of the India Desk
and provides employment advice to the firm’s Indian client
base.
Sapna’s non-contentious experience includes corporate support work, which involves carrying
out due diligence exercises on target companies, advising on
indemnities and warranties, and advising on staff transfers under
TUPE in asset sales. She has drafted executive service agreements,
contracts of employment and company policies. Sapna advises
employers on employee relations issues such as poor performance and
misconduct and the approach that employers should take to
disciplinary and grievance issues.
On the contentious side Sapna specialises in complex document
heavy, multi-day Tribunal claims typically involving issues of race
and disability discrimination.
Sapna advises in the following industry sectors: financial institutions, technology & telecommunications, life sciences, media &
entertainment, public sector,
retail and transport.
Sapna presents seminars and workshops on a regular basis as part
of the Employment and Pensions Group's annual training
programme.
Sapna speaks English, Gujarati (fluent), French (good) and
Kiswahili (basic).
