Alexandra Underwood works on dispute resolution matters,
specialising in high-value contract, commercial and corporate disputes, frequently
with an international element. Alexandra has considerable
experience of jurisdiction disputes, contractual indemnity
claims, fraud and breach of contract cases.
Alexandra’s practice includes a particular emphasis on employee
fraud claims and associated professional negligence claims. She has
significant experience of recovering assets, conducting investigations and obtaining
and enforcing freezing orders, search orders and other injunctions,
both in the UK and abroad.
Alexandra’s other commercial disputes work includes advising
corporate clients in trade and business
disputes. She provides practical advice to commercial
clients in relation to all forms of dispute resolution, including
litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute
resolution processes (such as mediation).
Alexandra is a regular speaker at seminars as part of the
commercial litigation autumn seminar series.
Alexandra is a regular contributor to the trade and legal press
(including the Financial Times, New Law Journal,
Fraud Intelligence and Company Secretary
Review) on fraud related topics.
Alexandra co-ordinates the firm’s membership of the London
Chamber of Commerce.
