Our Employment, Pensions and Incentives Group is a fully integrated practice, with experienced specialist lawyers in each field. We provide a comprehensive service, combining our expertise across all areas of employment, pensions and incentives law to deliver rapid, commercial and focused advice. Our lawyers in London, Brussels and Paris provide a specialist, seamless service, advising clients on a domestic and international basis from a variety of sectors, including banking, energy and natural resources, healthcare, hotels and leisure, technology and communications, life sciences, media and entertainment, not-for-profit, retail, sport, transport, travel and tourism, central Government, non-departmental public bodies, regulators and local authorities.

Employment, pensions and incentives issues are key concerns for any organisation, particularly during challenging times. Cost is a priority for many clients, of all sizes and in all sectors, and this can lead to significant changes to the workforce and revisiting contracts and benefits. Clients are also faced with an increasingly litigious environment and the need to formulate the best strategy for defending litigation.

Our high quality legal advice reflects our vast expertise in all three areas. We pride ourselves on combining our technical ability with a strategic approach to provide our clients with commercial, cost-effective solutions. Our extensive client base includes large corporations, government bodies, trustees, pension product providers and employee owned businesses.

Our employment lawyers advise on all contentious and non-contentious issues, including employment litigation, equality and diversity, business reorganisations, contracts and policies and employee relations matters. Our pensions expertise ranges from drafting trust deeds and rules for new occupational pension schemes to member disputes, funding negotiations and advising on the winding-up process; we are at the forefront of drafting solutions for pensions issues relating to the transfer of staff in the public sector. Our incentives team advises on the full range of tax advantaged and other share plans and incentives arrangements, including buy-outs, employee trusts, share valuations and start-ups, with a particular expertise in employee ownership.

We are committed to providing clients with a broad range of value added services which complement our legal services in all three areas. These include seminar and workshop training and regular alerters and newsletters on the key developments in employment, pensions and incentives law.
