We provide the full range of franchise legal services across a number of industry sectors. Understanding our franchise clients’ business is central to our work ethos. As well as expertise in their areas of law, our lawyers understand and have developed a commercial knowledge of our franchise clients’ businesses.

We advise companies ranging from small start ups to some of the worlds largest multinational companies. Over the last 12 months, we have advised on franchising and licensing in over 35 different countries.

We are founder members of two Europe-wide networks of specialist franchise lawyers, European Franchise Lawyers (EFL) founded in the mid-1980s and European franchise Network (EfN) founded in 2004. This gives us full coverage in all 27 EU Member States and other European countries such as Norway and Turkey, in addition to our contacts with franchise lawyers in the franchising markets around the world. 

We offer both franchisors and master franchisees fully integrated solutions to assist them in establishing their franchises not only in the UK and the EU but globally. 

As well as advising franchisors and master franchisees on their disputes and dispute avoidance strategies, we act for and have a proven track record in assisting franchisee groups in class actions. 

In addition to bespoke fixed cost products for both UK and international businesses, we also provide workshops and a seminar programme which are useful training tools for franchise businesses.
