Our experience
We have handled some of the market’s largest and most
high-profile investment deals acting for major investors, pension
funds, property companies, charities and occupiers. We have acted
on portfolios of all sizes from offices to shopping centres and
industrial warehouses and have established a lead position in
advising European investors on property and property
strategies.
We work closely with our tax and financial practices, advising
on advantageous tax structures for the acquisition of property and
indirect investments.
Work we have done recently with investment funds, pension funds,
groups of investors and charities include:
- Providing ongoing advice to a major pension fund on a portfolio
of some 70 investment properties, advising them on the acquisitions
disposals lease restructuring and management of various substantial
investment properties, including shopping centres, offices,
industrial estates and retail warehouses.
- Advising on the purchase of portfolios comprising office and
call centre properties and development sites currently let to
various telecoms companies.
- Providing ongoing advice to a major investment bank on their
management work across their industrial, retail, office and venture
funds, and acting on recent substantial sales.
- Advising on the sale on long leases of a number of major
investment properties in enterprise zones for private investors and
associated restructuring of occupational leases.
- Advising on an acquisition of a half share in a trophy
residential and retail and leisure development on the south coast
with an end development value £400m.
- Advising on the acquisition of four hotels with a combined
purchase value of circa £75m.
- Advising on the purchase of a number of substantial shopping
centres.
