04 June 2008
Welcome to the June 2008 issue of IP Update
In this edition we have introduced a new style and a new format
for our newsletter. The interactive PDF uses buttons to enable you
to navigate its content more effectively. Hyperlinks and print
buttons are also incorporated to make content as user-friendly and
interactive as possible.
We hope you like it!
As well as some photos from INTA, topics discussed include
forthcoming changes to the Companies Act, the Trade Mark Rules, the
Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations and their
impact on brand owners; decisions and opinions on UK design
infringement, late claim for share of copyright ownership, test for
patentability of computer programmes, comparative advertising,
registrability of decorative slogans and advertising of
keywords.
