Our Healthcare Group spans a number of core areas across the
firm, including our Public Sector Group and our
Regulatory
Group. The regulation of doctors, nurses, midwives,
chiropractors, opticians, pharmacists, psychotherapists and
fertility treatments and research is a central part of the
Healthcare Group’s work, whose members include qualified doctors
and nurses. The Group also provides advice to police on
investigating crimes in a healthcare setting and has worked on a
number of public inquiries affecting healthcare regulation.
Our Healthcare Group also includes our market leading claimant

Negligence Practice and our Employment and Corporate Finance
Groups including those working in PFI/PPP, IT and outsourcing.
Our public sector clients include professional regulatory
bodies, NHS trusts and medical institutes. We also advise private
sector participants in healthcare-related PFI/PPP projects and
other commercial arrangements.
