Notable deals 


  • Advising Motorola Inc and Motorola Mobility in its defence of a claim brought by an operating partner involving services in multiple jurisdictions in EMEA and the Americas.

  • Advising the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan on a deal to build and launch the country’s first communications satellite.


  • Advising Rocket Pictures on a variety of feature film projects in development including on rights acquisition and engagement of writers.

  • Advising on the on acquisition of mobile platform and product development firm Apsmart by Thomson Reuters. 

  • Advising Elvis Presley Enterprises on bringing High Court proceedings in the UK, and successfully obtaining summary judgment against an ex-licensee in respect of unauthorised use of Elvis Presley Enterprise's trade marks on CDs of Elvis remixes.


  • Advised and represented Google in its High Court litigation concerning key word advertising and ran cases brought against resellers of Adwords for trade mark infringement and passing off.

  • Advising the BBC on £560m licence fee contract. 

  • Advising Olympus Europa Holding GmbH on the outsourcing of their European IT infrastructure to Info AG.
